Since 1874, the city of Modesto has celebrated the 4th of July with a parade through downtown. This year is no exception. A downtown parade at 9:30 a.m., kicks off this year’s Fourth of July celebration, on Tuesday, July 4th!

The 2017 parade theme was:

“Modesto, USA”

Our opening ceremony included a tribute to fallen officers Deputy Wallace, CSO Johnson and Deputy Garner, with a 1000 Sq Ft Aerial Flag Display, for all to see.

Sky diver Kent Lane, sponsored by Los Amigos Tire Pros, jumped from 10,000ft, and guided a 1000 Sq Ft American Flag to our parade start!

Organized by the Modesto Kiwanis Club. Have a safe and wonderful 4th of July celebration!
